The Software Engineer, Analytics will own and deliver assigned development workstreams end-to-end, collaborating with peers and leveraging guidance from senior engineers as needed, while demonstrating increasing technical independence and accountability for quality outcomes. Participates in all aspects of the established SDLC. Designs & implements solutions and technical specifications (interfaces, APIs, classes, scripts, etc.) with required reviews. Actively participates in design processes with more senior team members. Follows existing/established patterns when implementing solutions. Able to suggest improved patterns where applicable. Knowledge in relation to core technologies, system architecture and software development practices Independently operates under team run rules (e.g. peer review/code review processes, utilization of design checklists, etc.) Timely completion of quality development tasks with increased productivity. Writes quality technical documentation (where appropriate/outside of code reviews, etc.) Participates and contributes to sizing/story pointing/planning poker/estimation methods as per established team run rules to gauge complexity and size of solution. Works with QA team members to understand testing approach (may contribute to test plan creation), who is testing what and where (API versus manual testing, etc.) Troubleshoots issues (replicates, investigates, recommends solution options and implements). Provides guidance for peers. Actively participates in code reviews. Documentations Reviews end user documentation/release notes pertaining to areas of contribution (stories, features, bug fixes, etc.)
