This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced finance professional, particularly someone with strong purchase ledger/accounts payable experience , to play a key role in supporting the College's financial operations. As Finance Officer, you will be responsible for the accurate and timely processing of financial transactions, maintaining financial records, supporting reconciliations, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations and procedures. You will work closely with suppliers, staff and other stakeholders to deliver an efficient and customer-focused finance service. Key responsibilities include: Processing supplier invoices, payments and purchase ledger transactions. Reconciling supplier statements and resolving invoice and payment queries. Supporting month-end and year-end finance processes. Assisting with bank and control account reconciliations. Maintaining accurate financial records and audit trails. Ensuring compliance with College financial regulations and procurement procedures. Building positive relationships with colleagues, suppliers and external stakeholders.
