About Astrana Care Hospitalists Astrana Care Hospitalists is seeking experienced and compassionate Nurse Practitioners (NPs) and Physician Assistants (PAs) to join our growing inpatient medicine program serving communities throughout Orange County. Working in close partnership with Astrana Health, Prospect Medical Holdings, and Allied Pacific IPA, our hospitalist team is committed to delivering high-quality, patient-centered acute care to diverse and underserved populations. We foster a culture of collaboration, inclusion, and clinical excellence while ensuring seamless transitions of care through coordination with primary care physicians, specialists, and multidisciplinary care teams. Position Highlights Our San Gabriel Valley division currently covers the following hospitals: Garfield Medical Center, Alhambra Hospital, San Gabriel Valley Medical Center, Monterey Park Hospital, Greater El Monte Community Hospital. USC Arcadia Full-time Day and Night Hospitalist opportunities available 7-on / 7-off schedule with opportunities for additional shifts Day and Night shift flexibility based on candidate preference Night Shift Hours: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM Night providers typically admit 1-3 patients per shift Collaborative hospital medicine team environment No overnight call requirements for day providers Malpractice coverage provided Competitive compensation Provide comprehensive inpatient medical care for hospitalized patients Conduct admissions, evaluations, and follow-up assessments Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with attending physicians Coordinate patient care with consulting specialists and interdisciplinary teams Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare providers Facilitate safe and efficient discharge planning and transitions of care Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
