Main duties of the job

Perform General, Gynaecology and MSK ultrasound scans within an NHS hospital setting, contributing to backlog reduction. Independently conduct and report ultrasound examinations, ensuring a high standard of accuracy and professionalism. Promote a patient-centred, multi-disciplinary approach to care in collaboration with the wider clinical team. Deliver efficient and timely scanning services to support patient care pathways.

Person Specification
Qualifications Essential
Hold a postgraduate certificate or postgraduate diploma in medical or clinical ultrasound. CASE Accreditation Current and up to date state registration through a regulatory body (HCPC or RCT)
Experience Essential
Minimum of 2 years post-qualification experience working in the NHS performing General, Gynaecology and MSK scans independently. Able to demonstrate the ability to carry out and report on a full range of ultrasound examinations in Gynaecology, MSK, General Abdominal and Small Parts.
