WLW delivers a range of additional services alongside core General Practice and continues to explore opportunities to develop services that respond to the needs of our patient population.
Technology and data are important to the way we operate. Our practices have high levels of digital and technology adoption, and we are keen to continue developing innovative approaches that improve efficiency, access, communication, population health management and patient experience.
We are looking for an experienced and proactive PCN Business Manager who can work closely with our Clinical Director, PCN Board and member practices to support the next stage of WLW's development.
Main duties of the job
The WLW PCN Business Manager will provide senior operational, business & management leadership to the Clinical Director, PCN Board and three member practices, supporting the delivery and continued development of high-quality, sustainable and innovative primary care services for our approximately 50,000 registered patients.
The post holder will play a key role in the day-to-day management and strategic development of WLW, with responsibility for business planning, operational management, financial management, workforce development, leadership, governance, contractual performance, service improvement and operational delivery.
Working closely with the Clinical Director, Practice Managers, GP Partners, clinical and non-clinical teams, the Integrated Care Board and other partner organisations, the Business Manager will ensure that PCN services are well coordinated, appropriately governed, financially controlled and responsive to the needs of our local population.
A key element of the role will be bringing together the strengths of three independently managed but collaborative and progressive practices. The Business Manager will identify opportunities to work collectively, share best practice and develop services and systems across the Network while respecting the individual identity and operational requirements of each member practice.
