Main duties of the job The role involves joining HCRG Care Group as a Mandatory Trainer with a focus on delivering Fire Safety, Warden, and Evacuation training. The successful candidate will also be responsible for providing various Quality & Safety training such as BLS, PM&H, and Conflict Resolution for adult and childrens Community Services. This position is flexible, suitable for both part-time and full-time applicants, who must be willing to travel to Essex, Kent, and prisons in Chelmsford and Norwich for training. Key responsibilities include internal quality assurance of training interventions, maintaining the training course catalogue, participating in Quality & Safety training projects, supporting SMEs in delivering learning interventions, and identifying continuous improvements in learning provision. The candidate needs to manage their workload effectively, with excellent planning, prioritisation, organisational, and time management skills.

Identification and implementation of continuous improvements in learning provision. Management of own workload, possessing excellent planning, prioritisation, organisational and time management skills and the ability to plan any travel effectively. Educated to degree level or equivalent experience. Recognised level 4 teaching, training or assessing qualification (or willingness to achieve this within a set time period) Ability to deliver training covering a wide range of health and care appropriate subject specialisms. Experience of designing, developing and delivering high quality blended learning solutions suitable for a health and care audience. Experience of and competence in using digital tools in the development and delivery of training solutions Knowledge and experience of curriculum development and course designApplicants must be available for an in-person interview on 14th August 2026.
