Main duties of the job As a Bank Business Support Administrator at HCRG Care Group, you will enjoy a range of benefits to support your wellbeing, including flexible shift booking, Wagestream access, and opportunities for professional growth. This temporary role offers an hourly rate of £13.64, with the main responsibilities involving accurate data entry and maintenance of sensitive patient information. Working Monday to Friday from 9:00am to 5:00pm at the Woking Hub, the successful candidate will become part of a team ensuring safeguarding records are kept current. Applicants must possess excellent attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage confidential information. Essential qualifications include a good general education, administrative experience in a customer-facing environment, and proficiency in Microsoft Office. The role requires discretion, sensitivity, and strong organizational skills, with occasional home working opportunities post-training.

This is an important administrative role, providing essential support to ensure safeguarding records are accurately maintained and updated in a timely manner.

The successful candidate will be responsible for data entry and maintaining sensitive patient information, requiring a high level of attention to detail, confidentiality, and professionalism at all times. Whilst the role supports patient services, there is no direct patient contact involved.

The service runs Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 5:00pm, based primarily from our Woking Hub. Following a successful training period and once fully competent in the role, there will be opportunities for some home working in line with service needs.

Main Responsibilities Direct referrals to appropriate professionals, manage incorrect referrals, and ensure urgent cases are escalated promptly.

Follow protocols to ensure accurate, timely allocation of referrals and maintain confidentiality on client systems.

Provide signposting to HCRG Care Group services and other agencies.

Maintain and update clinical systems, databases, and clinic templates.

Provide general administrative support, including stock ordering, correspondence handling, information distribution, and minute-taking.

Support safeguarding processes: manage documentation for police domestic violence notifications, coordinate strategy meetings, and process child protection/Marac correspondence.

Work flexibly to cover colleagues and ensure service priorities are met.

Ideal CandidateEssential:

Good general education to at least GCSE level or equivalent, including Maths and English

Administrative experience in a busy, customer facing environment

Excellent customer services skills

Accurate and efficient keyboard skills

High levels of computer literacy to include a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages incusing Outlook, Word, Excel.

Ability to work as part of a team

Effective interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written

Good telephone manner

Polite and helpful customer service skills

Ability to work with discretion, sensitivity and maintain confidentiality

Good planning and organisational skills and ability to meet deadlines

Ability to prioritise and manage workload in busy environment

Desirable:

Minute taking Knowledge of clinical systems or databasesOther requirements: the successful applicant will need to be a car driver
