Job Description Essential Job Functions
• Serves as the voice of the customer by communicating customer needs, priorities, and concerns internally and escalating issues to the appropriate cross-functional teams for timely resolution. • Manages assigned customer accounts and supports ongoing commercial activities. • Serves as the primary customer contact for CSP on assigned customer accounts. • Identifies opportunities for incremental growth within assigned accounts. • Prepares and supports customer quotations; coordinates internally to obtain pricing, tooling, and cost inputs in customer and company systems. • Lead the management and reporting of customer scorecards. • Develops customer presentations for new or existing product applications. • Coordinates internal resources to support customer needs including but not limited to engineering, manufacturing, quality, and supply chain. • Lead the contract negotiation with assigned customers. • Ensures orders, quotes, and customer requirements are accurately processed. • Manages day‑to‑day customer issues, supports timely resolution and escalates when needed. • Supports program launches, engineering changes, and lifecycle management activities. • Documents opportunities in the CSP account planning tool and regularly tracks and reports progress, activity, and outcomes.
Qualifications and Requirements
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience. • Minimum of 5 years of sales or account management experience in automotive, industrial, heavy truck, or manufacturing environments. • Working knowledge of OEM and Tier 1 customer requirements and processes. • Experience with plastics, composites, or engineered materials preferred. • Proficiency with customer portals (e.g., GM Supplier Power or equivalent). • Strong communication, organizational, and relationship‑building skills. • Ability to travel to customer and company locations approximately 25%.
