About the role
This is a hands-on role to liaise and support customers with onsite repairs and service, together with the Supervision of field services personnel, ensuring the day-to-day safe and efficient running of the assigned area. • Dismantle, Inspection, machining, repair and rebuilding of both Sulzer and non-Sulzer rotating equipment
• Field service repairs and/or overhauls in both workshop and client locations
• Supervision of subcontractors, from time to time
• Liaising with customers to compile job reports and represent Sulzer in all aspects of rotating equipment services.
• Assist in the production and maintenance of the OSH, Quality and Environment policies and procedures
• Assist in implementing and maintaining ISO accreditation
• Interpreting engineering drawings
• Balancing of rotating Equipment, and Alignment of pumps, motors etc.
• Machining of components
Education requirements
• Trade Qualification in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
Key skills / Experience / Role Requirement
• 5+ years’ experience with Electrical / Mechanical products.
• Field Service Experience
• Strong communication skills.
• High level skills in time management.
• Ability to engage and work with others.
• Travel ~ >50% of time.
Language skills
• Fluent in written and spoken English is a must.
