Core responsibilities - Gather, clarify, and translate business requirements into functional and data requirements. - Map current and target-state data flows, data domains, and system integrations within the VB data landscape. - Define and maintain data definitions, KPIs, and business rules in collaboration with data owners and SMEs. - Support data governance activities, including data quality monitoring, issue management, and remediation tracking. - Create clear documentation (process maps, data lineage, requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria). - Facilitate workshops, stakeholder interviews, and alignment sessions across business, IT, and data teams. - Assist in solution validation, UAT preparation, and release readiness for data-related changes. Required skills and experience - Proven experience as a Business Analyst in data, BI, analytics, or data platform environments. - Strong knowledge of data concepts: data modeling, ETL/ELT, data warehousing, and data quality. - Ability to work with SQL and interpret datasets to validate requirements and outcomes. - Experience with Agile ways of working (user stories, backlog refinement, sprint support). - Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and documentation skills.
