The organization has activities on all continents and has established a leading position in the market. For their European HQ in Amsterdam they are seeking to recruit a Accountant to support further growth. You will be reporting to the Management Accountant and be part of a large, international Finance team.In this role, you will gain broad exposure to property accounting, financial reporting and the full property lifecycle, working closely with colleagues across Finance as well as Property Management and Asset Management. Functie omschrijving - Prepare journals, balance sheet reconciliations and supporting schedules as part of the month-end, quarter-end and year-end close - Support the preparation of financial reporting, statutory accounts, audit deliverables and financial analyses - Assist with the accounting for property acquisitions, developments, asset enhancement initiatives, disposals and other property-related transactions - Work closely with the Shared Services Centre to ensure accurate cash, intercompany and AP/AR reconciliations - Contribute to improving finance processes, controls and reporting, while ensuring compliance with Group Accounting Policies - Work closely with the Management Accountant and wider Finance team, building relationships with stakeholders across Property Management and Asset Management and developing your expertise in property accounting Requirements - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or Business Administration - Approximately 2+ years of relevant experience within a finance or accounting environment; Real Estate experience is a plus - Strong financial accounting and balance sheet experience, with experience in month-end and year-end closing - Experience with statutory financial reporting and knowledge o...
