Join an exciting new international B2B pharma event as it launches from the Netherlands, helping to build strong industry partnerships and support its commercial growth. You’ll work closely with experienced teams and senior contacts across the sector, combining remote working with international travel. This is a 32-hour role on a 12-month temporary contract through Projob, offering the chance to make a real impact from the very beginning. Your job as an Event Manager You will turn an existing launch plan into a successful international exhibition and conference. As Event Manager, you combine hands-on delivery with strong commercial understanding. You build support among pharma companies, trade groups, public bodies and local partners. You keep deadlines, budgets and shared goals on track. You also give clear updates to teams and senior leaders. Your main responsibilities are to: - Refine and carry out the launch plan, including its timeline, resources and budget. - Build and maintain relationships with industry contacts, trade groups and public bodies. - Find, negotiate and secure strategic, media and industry partnerships. - Track budgets, revenue, costs and forecasts while reporting on event profit and loss. - Coordinate internal teams, support sales and represent the event at meetings and conferences. You will also help to grow the audience and improve the event content. Travel is required for important industry and customer activities. Your workplace You will work within an international B2B events team. Your closest colleagues work in sales, marketing, content, operations, customer service and finance. The pace is high, and plans can change quickly. You therefore take action, set priorities and follow up without waiting for detailed instructions.
