Basic-Fit is aiming to grow to 3,000 clubs by 2030. As part of its ambitious growth strategy, Basic-Fit is continuously opening new clubs, acquiring fitness locations and exploring new business opportunities, including franchise expansion. Its legal team plays a crucial role in supporting this growth and is closely involved in commercial, corporate and operational decision-making. The Legal department is structured around regional clusters and consists of 18 legal professionals supporting operations in several European jurisdictions. For the German and Austrian market, Basic-Fit is looking to appoint a German-speaking Legal Counsel who will join the international legal team in Hoofddorp and contribute directly to the continued expansion of the business in Germany and Austria. Responsibilities As Legal Counsel Germany, you will act as a trusted legal business partner to the German and Austrian operations and support a broad range of legal matters arising from the company's ongoing expansion activities. The main focus will be on commercial contracting and real estate matters. Your responsibilities will include: - drafting, reviewing and negotiating a wide variety of commercial agreements; - advising the business on general contract law matters and day-to-day legal issues; - supporting real estate transactions, lease negotiations, lease renewals and landlord discussions relating to existing and new fitness clubs; - assisting with acquisitions, integrations and other expansion projects in Germany and ...
