More information: www.werelddorpenvoorkinderen.nl 18.08.2026 - WO - 5-10 jaar Stichting Wereld Dorpen voor Kinderen Functieomschrijving Stichting Wereld Dorpen voor Kinderen has a vacancy for an EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR Chief executive Officer / Executive board member The responsibilities of the Executive Director include the following: Strategy & Leadership • You lead the development and implementation of the long-term strategy. • You ensure the translation into annual plans and the corresponding budget. • You evaluate the policies implemented and provide periodic reports to the Board. • You ensure the day-to-day management of the small but committed team. • You represent the organization at external and internal events. Fundraising • You maintain relationships with existing and potential donors such as private individuals, funds & foundations, companies, and institutional partners. • You lead the development and execution of fundraising campaigns, events, and initiatives. • You ensure transparent reporting and responsible management of donations. Board & Compliance • You work closely with the Board. • You ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations. • You oversee audits and prepare annual reports and impact analyses. Financial & Operational Management • You monitor the budget, ensure financial planning and resource allocation. • You ensure efficient business operations, including personnel policy, quality policy, digitalization and administration.
