Are you a people-oriented professional with strong organizational skills? For one of our new logistics clients in Lelystad, we are looking for an enthusiastic Onboarding Specialist. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for new employees, ensuring they feel welcome from day one. You combine administrative skills with a hands-on mentality and maintain a visible presence on the work floor. Together with the operations team, you will play an important role in the successful start-up of one of Europe’s most modern logistics centers. What are you going to do? As an Onboarding Specialist, you will guide new employees throughout their first period within the organization. You will ensure a smooth onboarding experience and maintain regular contact with both employees and the client. Your responsibilities include: - Welcoming and supporting new employees on their first working day; - Acting as a host and first point of contact on site; - Regularly checking in with agency workers, team leaders, and operational colleagues to monitor progress; - Organizing and coordinating onboarding and training activities; - Scheduling progress meetings between new employees and supervisors; - Supporting HR and operational processes at the location; - Identifying improvement opportunities and contributing to a positive employee experience; - Supporting the planning and organization of SOTs (Safety Observation Tours) in the future.
