Care Assistant IG – Home Care Positieve Zorg B.V. Locations: Boxmeer, Overloon, Sint Anthonis and Mill 24–36 hours per week Sector: Health & Social Care Would you like to make a real difference in someone’s life while continuing to develop yourself professionally? We are a home care organisation with small, local community care teams in the regions of Boxmeer, Overloon, Sint Anthonis and Mill. We provide personal care and nursing support to people in the comfort and familiarity of their own homes. Our approach is based on the philosophy of Positive Health. This means that we look at the person and their life as a whole, rather than focusing solely on illness or limitations. We encourage our clients to maintain their independence and make use of their own abilities and social network wherever possible. What will you do? As a Care Assistant IG (Verzorgende IG), you will be a familiar and trusted person for our clients. Your responsibilities include: Providing personal care and support; Performing nursing procedures, such as administering medication and providing wound care; Supporting clients in maintaining their independence, self-reliance and well-being; Recognising and reporting changes in a client’s health or living situation. You will work closely with informal carers, family members and other healthcare professionals in both primary and secondary care. Although you work independently in clients’ homes, you are always connected to your team, the community nurse, our office and other healthcare partners in the region. Who are we looking for? We are looking for an enthusiastic, caring and committed Care Assistant IG who: Holds a Dutch Verzorgende IG Level 3 diploma, or is willing to obtain this qualification; Is able to work independently while also being a strong team player; Is confident in making decisions when necessary; Is flexible and comfortable working in a dynamic environment; Has an interest in home care and the principles of Positive Health, including encouraging clients’ independence and self-reliance. A Certificate of Conduct (VOG) is required for this position. Any costs related to obtaining the certificate can be reimbursed by us. Do you have a healthcare qualification from another country? Candidates with a healthcare-related foreign diploma are also very welcome to apply.
