Solliciteren About the assignment You'll be stepping into ownership of two strong engineering teams, around 10 engineers combined, at a pivotal moment for the organization's deployment architecture. This isn't a role about keeping the lights on: the platform needs to evolve, and you're expected to help drive that forward. Your teams work on backend engineering for deployment: CI/CD pipelines, cloud deployment on Azure (including AKS and Terraform), and virtual appliance deployments (packaged, zip based deployments to on premises environments) across a global customer base, including regions like Australia and Brazil. The deployment landscape is intentionally complex: monoliths, microservices, single and multi-tenant SaaS components, all needing to scale reliably worldwide. Beyond your own teams, you'll work closely with peers on broader infrastructure strategy, hosting strategy, data sovereignty, observability, and the continued evolution of the cloud platform. This is a role focused on internal platforms for engineering teams, not IT operations or enterprise IT infrastructure.
