About this role
We’re looking for a Data Operations Specialist to join our team supporting a U.S.-based client. The ideal candidate has strong technical and analytical skills, excellent attention to detail, and experience working with large datasets, CRM systems, and data quality processes.
Key Responsibilities
Clean, validate, and standardize large datasets (names, addresses, emails, phone numbers) Manage and update CRM records (Blackbaud Raiser’s Edge NXT or similar) Perform data imports/exports and ensure data integrity across multiple systems Conduct data verification, deduplication, and record enhancement using online research Prepare and execute queries, reports, and exports for donor/member databases Document processes, maintain audit trails, and report data quality metricsRequirements
Core Skills & Experience
Advanced Excel/spreadsheet proficiency (VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Data Validation) Familiarity with CRM or database systems (Raiser’s Edge NXT preferred) Strong understanding of data structures, normalization, and field mapping Experience in data cleansing, reconciliation, and quality control Excellent written communication and documentation skills Prior experience with nonprofit or donor databases is a plus Soft Skills
