Description des tâches: adwäisEO is a fast-growing company, leader in the sector of it services related to the Space Ground Segment. Its clients are Space Agencies (i.e. ESA and Luxembourg Space Agency), public space organizations (i.e. Mercator, Copernicus) and private companies. Among our projects (non-exhaustive list): − the biggest Copernicus/Sentinel collaborative ground segment of Europe ( collgs.lu ), i.e. the data center of the Luxembourg Space Agency LSADC, − the Data Archival, Management and Processing Services DAMPS ( damps.info ) for the ACRI-ST mother company on behalf of the European Space Agency ESA − a service that covers together the 80 % of ESA EO data, − the systematic production of Sentinel-3A data and the reprocessing of Sentinel 2 so far, the biggest reprocessing of the history− for ACRI-ST then ESA, − the reformatting of all ESA EO data in cloud-optimized format and their distribution on the Destinee digital platform @OVH, and the implementation of an AI-based EO application platform using resources of the Luxembourg HPC Meluxina. The company owns a relevant infrastructure with reference disk storage capacity of 80PB, tape storage capacity of 200 PB, and a computing cluster with almost 1.2 Petaflops capacity. To meet the needs of our clients the infrastructure hosts multiple kinds of environment ranging from dedicated HPC solutions to multi-hybrid cloud solutions. The company owns a relevant infrastructure with reference disk storage capacity of 70PB and a computing cluster with almost 1 Petaflops capacity. The position adwäisEO is looking for a seasoned Project Manager for projects dedicated to Space Agencies (ESA, LSA), European Commission, etc. She/he will drive and contribute to the successful course of projects under SLA (Service Level Agreement) in close collaboration with Customers, Technical Managers, etc, in line with adwäisEO's information security management system. She/he will work closely with the Key Account Manager and the CTO of the company. Main Role & responsibilities: • Proposal drafting in response to calls for tenders • Customer relationships; • Management and control of projects (contractual support, progress updates, deliveries monitoring, compliance with project milestones and deadlines, risk management, costs optimization, etc.); • Management of sub-contractors; • Projects reporting (internally and to customers); • Planning and organization of human resources; • Organization and supervision of projects meetings and tasks/action items; • Managing/writing projects documentation, including: o Project plans: management, risk, implementation, operation... o Follow-up documents: reports, meeting minutes... • Implementation and respect of company/projects quality procedures; • Flexibility to handle new tasks and challenges. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Must Have Requirements • 10+ years of experience in projects management • Advanced, hands-on expertise in project management, risk management and information security standards • Advanced, hands-on expertise in proposal preparations in answer to highly competitive institutional tenders • Fluent in English (C1) • Decision maker, structured and autonomous, analytical mind, proactivity, willing to learn • Excellent communication skills • Proven ability to coordinate multifunctional teams • Strong team spirit • Valid work permit for EU Being considered as a plus • French speaking • Experience in the space sector, or domain with strong dependencies on space-based data (ex. EO data).
