Job Title: AEM Tech Lead Engineer Location: Cardiff/Remote (2 days a week on Site) Contract Length: 6 months (Starting ASAP - Fixed Term)
About the Role: We are seeking an experienced AEM Tech Lead Engineer to lead the development team working on our clients digital platform. This role involves hands-on leadership, technical guidance, and ensuring high-quality delivery using AEM CMS and related technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and mentor the AEM development team, ensuring best practices and high code quality.Architect and implement scalable solutions using AEM CMS, Java (multiple versions including 21), REST APIs, Microservices, and Spring frameworks.Oversee build and deployment pipelines using Docker, Terraform, and Jenkins.Collaborate closely with stakeholders and cross-functional teams to deliver features on time and to specification.Drive continuous improvement in development processes and tooling.
Required Skills & Experience:
Proven experience as a Tech Lead in AEM CMS projects.Strong Java development skills, including experience with Java 21 and earlier versions.Deep knowledge of RESTful services, Microservices architecture, and Spring frameworks.Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform.Familiarity with Docker, Terraform, and Jenkins for build and deployment automation.Excellent communication and leadership skills.
