About this role
We are looking for two skilled professionals to join our growing team: one for a Thermal Spraying Operator position and one for a Conventional/CNC Grinder position. Both roles are essential to our production process, and you will have the chance to work on a range of fascinating projects in a modern, well-equipped workshop. What you'll be doing: For the Thermal Spraying Operator: Set up and operate various thermal spraying equipment, including wire arc, flame, and plasma spraying equipment. Prepare surfaces for coating (cleaning, taping, and ensuring surface readiness). Ensure the correct mix ratio and quality of coating materials. Inspect coatings for adhesion, thickness, and overall quality. Maintain equipment and perform routine maintenance as needed. For the Conventional/CNC Grinder: Configure, set up, and operate cylindrical and surface grinding machines. Read and interpret technical drawings to ensure precision. Work with a variety of materials and workpieces, utilizing different machining technologies. Maintain a focus on accuracy and quality in your work, ensuring the highest standards are met. Solve problems independently or as part of a team and contribute to finding solutions for technical challenges. Both positions require the ability to work independently and as part of a tight-knit team, with flexibility to take on overtime when necessary. General Requirements: ✔ Experience & Knowledge – Some experience in metalworking (e.g., welding, CNC) and reading technical drawings. ✔ Skills – Accuracy, problem-solving, adaptability, teamwork, and eagerness to learn. ✔ Personal Traits – Proactive, detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and communicative. Role-Specific Requirements: For Thermal Spraying Operator: ✔ Experience with thermal spraying (wire arc, flame, plasma) or similar metalwork (e.g., welding). ✔ Ability to prepare surfaces (cleaning, taping) and mix/apply coatings. ✔ Willingness to learn quality inspection (adhesion, thickness) and equipment maintenance . For Conventional/CNC Grinder: ✔ Experience with cylindrical & surface grinding and material handling. ✔ Understanding of tolerances, surface finishes, and machining precision . ✔ Proficiency with measuring tools (calipers, micrometers). Preferred: ✔ Education – Technical diploma in machining or mechanical engineering is a plus. ✔ Other – Willingness to work day shifts + optional Saturdays , basic computer skill You live in the region in Belgium
