Job description In order to support the Airbus Resources Planning (ARP) program, Airbus is looking for a Toolchain standards & AI Manager (d/f/m). You will join the “Digital for Operation” business department, the cornerstone of our industrial transformation, aiming to simplify, streamline, and unlock the full potential of digital technologies for operations. As part of the Lean Agile Center of Excellence (LACE) team, you will establish, operate, and continuously improve the integrated tool ecosystem supporting the global ARP/ERP program, preventing tool sprawl and ensuring standardized execution across all teams. This role is also available with reduced weekly hours and an adapted scope of tasks. Your location You will be working at the largest production site for civil aircraft situated in Hamburg. Its location on the southern banks of the river Elbe includes the option to commute by ferry. Your workplace is located in Rüschpark, not far from the plant in Finkenwerder. Your benefits - Attractive salary and special payments - 30 days paid vacation and extra days-off for special occasions - Excellent upskilling opportunities and great international, group wide development prospects - Special benefits: employer-funded pension, employee stock options, discounted car leasing, special conditions for insurances, transportation subsidy, employee benefits at cooperating companies - On-site-facilities: Kindergarten close to the site, medical officer for check-ups and other health-related services, canteen and cafeteria - Compatibility of family & work (job sharing, part-time models, flexible working hours, individual timeout) - Working in a diverse environment, with more than 140 nationalities, where every voice is heard Your tasks and responsibilities - Manage, optimize, and govern the overall tool ecosystem supporting the SAP transformation program across ARTs, MFTs, and cross-functional teams. - Establish integrations, automated workflows, and standard configurations across key tools (Agility, Jira, SAP Cloud ALM, Google Workspace, ServiceNow, Planisware, Zoho). - Define guardrails, standard templates, playbooks, and permission schemes to streamline onboarding for external partners and internal teams. - Design overarching dashboards (e.g., PowerBI, Jira Align, SAP Cloud ALM Analytics) to provide trustworthy readiness views for executive steering committees. - Enable AI-driven productivity through capabilities like automated reporting, documentation generation, and intelligent knowledge retrieval. - Conduct routine audits to prevent tool sprawl, eliminate inefficiencies, and ensure compliance with official tool standards. - Guide, train, and support program stakeholders (Product Owners, Scrum Masters, RTEs, Project Leaders) to ensure reliable reporting data. Desired skills and qualifications - Master’s degree with 8+ years of experience in Aerospace or related complex industries (e.g., Automotive, Defence), or equivalent experience. - Experience in large-scale agile environments (ideally SAFe-based) and enterprise transformation initiatives (preferably SAP-related). - Strong understanding of enterprise tool ecosystems, integrations, workflow automation, and tool configuration. - Proven ability to support cross-functional teams, program leadership, and architects while thinking systemically with a continuous improvement mindset. - Interest in leveraging AI and automation to enhance collaboration, reporting, and knowledge management. - Willingness to travel to other Airbus sites (20-30% 1 to 2 trips a month).
