Dentons Europe is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior IT Project Manager to join our Prague office. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your project management expertise within a dynamic, international law firm committed to innovation and technology excellence.
About the roleIn this role, you will support a variety of internal IT initiatives, and occasionally collaborate with external partners, helping to deliver projects that enhance our firm’s global technology landscape. You will also benefit from hands-on guidance and mentorship from experienced Senior Project Managers.
This is a B2B contract role
ResponsibilitiesSupport the full project lifecycle – from planning and documentation to execution and closure – across a variety of IT initiatives.Take ownership of small to mid-size projects, with regular support from a senior colleague.Work closely with teams across Europe, building collaboration and communication across multiple offices.Prepare and maintain project documentation, including reports, meeting agendas, minutes, and progress updates.Collaborate with internal departments (e.g., Business Development, Innovation & Intelligence, Finance, Risk) to ensure aligned with processes and efficient project delivery.Assist in process improvements, such as mapping workflows and refining procedures.Monitor project tasks, follow up with responsible stakeholders, and help ensure timelines, budgets, and deliverables are met.Support the Project Management Office (PMO) and contribute to the overall maturity of project management practices within Dentons.Occasionally liaise with vendors or external partners as part of larger project teams.Requirements
Bachelor’s degree (preferably in Business, IT, Management, or a related field).2 -3 years of experience in project support or coordination, ideally in a professional services or international corporate environment.Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and Planner.Highly organized and structured; able to manage multiple tasks and timelines.Strong communication and interpersonal skills, especially in a multicultural team setting.Comfortable working with various stakeholders at different seniority levels.Fluent English (C1 or above); other European languages are a plus.Understanding of project management principles (e.g., Waterfall, Agile).Proactive mindset, client-oriented, and a strong team player.Benefits
