Inside Sales Executive - Far East - Ocean Exports

We are looking for an Inside Sales Executive to join our Export Commercial team in Ipswich, supporting our Far East Export Trades.
This role focuses on maintaining and developing customer relationships, working closely with internal teams, overseas agencies, MSC Geneva, and both new and existing customers.

How you will help us and what you can expect
Active desire to assist in the winning of new business and meet targets, exploring all opportunities to increase volume by developing closer customer relationships where required by Sales and TradeDevelop new and existing business from pricing enquiries, securing new bookings with a target driven approachActively follow up quotations using all communication channels until bookings are achieved and new repeat business is fully secured Proactively retaining and growing accounts, including any research and development required, mindful of contribution towards overall revenue targetsEnsure quotations are processed in a timely, accurate mannerStrong communication and liaison across the Commercial teams and the wider business, particularly MSC Geneva, to ensure full commercial and operational support is given the TradeYou can expect to spend time with us, to learn about us, our customers, and our systems. You will be given the autonomy to make commercial decisions and play a vital part in the success of our business Skills and experience you’ll bring to us
We’d like you to bring an open mind and an element of creativity to want to secure more business and build the relationships with our customers. You’ll be a great communicator with the ability to influence decisions both internally and externally. Previous shipping knowledge and experience is helpful, however, we will always support learning and training our people. A high level of experience within Microsoft Office is also an essential part of this role due to extensive use in different day to day tasks.
