FAIRVIEW SCHOOL DISTRICT POSITION DESCRIPTION Part-Time Position – 2026-2027 School Year TITLE: Lunchroom Monitor (3 hours/schedule TBD) LOCATION: Fairview Middle School REPORTS TO: Fairview Middle School Principal/Assistant Principal QUALIFICATIONS:
• High School Diploma
• Experience supervising students in a public or private school
• Must possess all current state mandatory clearances
• Must be physically able to perform all duties as listed in position responsibilities
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Supervise students during their daily lunch periods.
• Monitor student-passes that allow students to enter or leave the cafeteria area.
• Supervise the serving lines to avoid overcrowding and theft.
• Work closely with the middle school staff on duty and the administration to monitor cafeteria student behavior.
• Circulate through the entire lunchroom during lunch to ensure appropriate behavior/safety of all
• Clean tables after each lunch.
• Clean-up & prep after last lunch.
• Work cooperatively with a variety of people.
• Other duties as assigned by the building Principal
