About this role
Primary Purpose: Supervise and coordinate the school district's HVAC maintenance, repair, and preventive maintenance program to ensure heating, ventilation, air-conditioning, and related building systems operate safely, reliably, and efficiently. Qualification Guidelines: Education/Certifications: High school diploma or equivalent; HVAC technical training preferred. Appropriate HVAC/EPA certifications and valid driver's license required. Experience: Minimum 5 years HVAC experience, with 5 years supervisory or lead experience preferred. Special Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Knowledge of heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) installation, repair and maintenance techniques Ability to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, schematics and written reference material Ability to perform mathematical calculations Ability to diagnose and resolve problems Ability to fabricate, assemble, and install duct work Ability to use hand and power tools Supervisory Responsibilities: Directly supervise all HVAC personnel Microsoft Word - 26-27 Supervisor, HVAC OFFICIAL
