About this role

DEFINITION OF POSITION: To organize and coordinate the Knowledge Bowl program at Pullman High School IMMEDIATE SUPERVISOR: Principal or Designee

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Evidence of successful student activity advising experience

• Ability to obtain a Pullman School District Type II driver's license upon hire

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience working with high school students in an academic setting

• First Aid/CPR Certification

ESSENTIAL JOB-RELATED ACTIVITIES:

• Recruit teams for Knowledge Bowl Competitions

• Hold appropriate meetings with students to prepare them for competition

• Assemble appropriate materials, arrange for relevant speakers, and hold practice sessions to prepare for competition

• Coordinate plans for competition with appropriate agencies/other advisors

• Supervise students in and at competitions

• Develop summer time reading list from the guides provided by the Knowledge Bowl program

• Develop a systematic program and status reports to inform school personnel regarding the Knowledge Bowl program and competition

• Fulfill other duties as required to appropriately field teams for competitions

TERMS OF CONTRACT:

• Salary: Stipend Position: $2,383 - $2,788 per school year
