QUALIFICATIONS:
• High school diploma or GED.
• Possess basic knowledge and experience in receptionist and switchboard duties.
• Ability to provide effective communication, interpersonal and customer relations skills.
• Clear and pleasant telephone personality.
• Provide excellent customer service.
• Maintain confidentiality of information.
• Must possess a reasonable degree of typing, word processing and organizational skills.
• Demonstrated strong work ethic, organizational skills, good judgment, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to speak, read and understand the English language.
• Fluency in Spanish, preferred.
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: 244 days SALARY/PAYGRADE: $29,970/CP-3 Salary Range (based on experience) as set by the Board of Trustees for the school year. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
• Answer HR main phone line and direct calls to appropriate personnel.
• Greet and assist visitors.
• Oversee the reception area, ensuring it is organized and presents a welcoming environment for all visitors.
• Facilitate I-9 completion for new hires.
• Provide clerical support to Human Resources as needed, including data entry, filing, and managing correspondence.
WORKING CONDITIONS: Mental Demands/Physical Demands/Environmental Factors: Work with frequent interruptions, maintain emotional control under stress.
