ASL Educational Interpreter - Lamar High School Lamar School District is accepting applications for an ASL Educational Interpreter to work with a high school student. The following are essential duties for this position: Interpret oral communication into sign language in classes Facilitate communication among students, classroom teachers, and other personnel in the school district. Convey the content of the message clearly and accurately according to the receptive language level of the student. Maintain confidentiality of student information Minimum standards: Must hold a valid interpreter’s license issued by the Arkansas Department of Health; Must have a high school diploma or equivalent; and Hold at least a: 3.0 on the Educational Interpreter Performance Assessment (EIPA); or Quality Assurance Screening Test (QAST) 3/3 (transliterating /interpreting).
