About this role
Job Requirements: The Custodian is required to work a part-time, short term schedule as directed by the Maintenance Director. Custodian must be able to lift 50 lbs. or less. Must have a vehicle and a current driver's license. Reports to: Maintenance Drirector Job Requirements:
• Secure and lock facilities according to schedule.
• Clean as directed by the Maintenance Director.
• Remove light snow fall from the walkways and stairs and apply ice melt as neede
• Clean and sanitize all restrooms and replenish supplies as directed by the Maintenance Director.
• Respond to student or staff events that require clean up and sanitation as needed.
• Check and replace fluorescent and exit light bulbs as needed.
• Dry mop corridors and classrooms daily as needed.
• Vacuum or shampoo carpeted surfaces daily, or as directed by the Maintenance Director.
• Strip and re-wax floors as directed by the Maintenance Director.
• Cover for absent members of the custodial team when directed by the Maintenance Director.
• Perform any other duties that may be assigned from time to time by the Maintenance Director.
