Bullitt County Public Schools is requesting a waiver to fill this position before the standard 15-day posting period to ensure we are fully staffed for the upcoming school year. Bullitt Lick Middle is looking for a candidate that is strong in communicating with parents, visitors and those in the community that support BLMS!

The candidate must be able to remain positive when under pressure, honor confidentiality, and answer the phone with a "smile". Experience with technology is essential. Position Details Hours: 1 hour per day Contract Length: 186 days per year
• 170 student instructional days
• 7 planning days
• 9 extended days
Contract Adjustments: Contracted days will be prorated based on the start date Employment Status: (This position is part time and not eligible for benefits unless combined with another position making it full time) Employment Type: 11-month employee on the classified pay schedule Qualifications & Requirements
• Education: Must have a high school diploma or equivalent and provide a copy to HR upon recommendation to hire.
• Documentation: Candidates must provide proof of educational requirements to HR upon recommendation for hire.
Compensation & Experience Credit 2026-2027 Pay Scale
• Starting Pay (Step 0): $16.46/hour
• Experienced Pay (Step 10): $20.26/hour
We value experience! New hires may bring up to 10 years of comparable, full-time, verified experience.
• The hired applicant is responsible for submitting the BCPS Verification of Experience Form to prior employers for completion and return to HR.
Payroll Note: While this is an hourly position, the salary is distributed via a year-long contract over 10 months. You will receive 4 paychecks at the end of June.
