About this role
*Human Resources experience not required Candidate must be detail-oriented and customer-focused to support the daily operations of the HR Department. This position plays a key role in assisting employees, substitutes, and new hires. Key Responsibilities:
• Administer online systems for applications, onboarding forms, substitute placement, leave management, and training system.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for new hires, including onboarding forms and background checks.
• Support recruitment efforts by posting job vacancies and advertisements.
• Maintain HR resources such as the Employee Handbook, evaluation handbooks, and HR section of the division website.
• Assist with data collection, reporting, budgeting, and office management tasks.
• Assist with planning and coordination of division events, such as New Teacher Orientation, Staff Recognitions Banquet, and Retirement Reception.
• Provide courteous and professional service to staff, visitors, and the public.
Qualifications:
• Strong technology skills; able to easily learn new systems.
• Strong organizational, communication, and customer service skills
• High school diploma or GED required; 1–3 years of related experience preferred.
**This position works 7 hours per day. Salary is based on the Clerical II salary scale.
