TITLE: Secondary Graduation Coach QUALIFICATIONS
• Must hold a minimum of a Bachelor's Degree.
• Relevant work experience with at-risk school students preferred.
• Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable.
REPORTS TO: Secondary Principals PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES
• Utilize early warning indicators to intervene with secondary students who are most at risk of not being on track to graduate.
• Monitor secondary students throughout the year for grades and attendance.
• Collaborate with school leaders, behavioral specialists, and teachers to develop systemic strategies to identify and support students.
• Develop and implement individual intervention strategies and plans to increase the likelihood that these students will stay in school and on track to graduate.
• Coordinate with area social agencies to provide basic needs of students and families as identified.
• Track the progress of individuals and subpopulations of students as they progress through middle school.
• Communicate regularly with guardians of students identified as being at risk of not passing classes.
• Maintain CPI yearly certification.
• Be available to sub in classrooms.
• Supervise and intervene with students who need additional social-emotional support during unstructured times.
• Assist in the administration of student assessments(proctor).
• Provide and/or submit reports as scheduled and requested.
• All other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
• Track 31A student lists and code them in the Munetrix system
• Meet with students to support their EDP completion and graduation pathways
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT Days to be scheduled and terms per individual contract. The employee shall remain free of any alcohol or non-prescribed controlled substance abuse in the workplace throughout his/her employment in the District.
