East Middle School seeks a 1.0 Special Education Teacher. This position provides individualized support for students who have exhibited social, emotional, or academic challenges. This position requires DESE licensure in Moderate Disabilities, 5-12 as well as SEI endorsement or the ability to obtain SEI endorsement. This position is responsible for writing all aspects of student IEPs as well as contributing to IEP meetings. Ideal candidates are experienced at working with students with social/emotional challenges and learning disabilities at the middle school level. Candidates should also have demonstrated skills at working collaboratively and collegially on a team of professionals.
