Marching Band Advisor/Technician 2026 Marching Band Season
Franklin High School DESCRIPTION Set Construction/ Builder POSITION SUMMARY: Seeking a marching band advisor/technician to work with the award-winning Franklin High School Marching band for the upcoming season. This candidate should be proficient in percussion, marching band front ensembles or marching band visuals. Highly qualified candidates will be able to work collaboratively with the FHS Marching Band Director and Assistant Director. QUALIFICATIONS:
• Appropriate New Jersey Certification required: Substitute Certification, or other certificate alternatives as the Board may find acceptable.
• Ability to maintain a positive working environment
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Compliance with the NJ FIRST Act
• Successful Criminal History Clearance
• Proof of U.S. Citizenship or appropriate employment authorization
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT & COMPENSATION In accordance with the provisions of the BOE/FTEA collective bargaining agreement, in the 26/27 SY, this role is budgeted for a stipend of $2,567.88 This is a temporary, seasonal assignment with a fixed stipend for the contracted period. This position does not include year-round employment, benefits, or guaranteed continued assignment beyond the designated contracted period. Stipend and benefits as determined by the Board of Education and any applicable and collective negotiations agreement.
