• Implement therapeutic interventions under the direction of a licensed therapist. • Assist students to improve mobility, restore function, and enhance educational participation. Guide students in therapy regimens and proper use of equipment to develop strength, coordination, and fine motor skills. • Support classroom positioning, joint alignment, and postural stability. • Develop activities to improve sensory processing and functional daily living skills. • Conduct activity/environmental analysis to remove barriers to participation. • Assist with assistive technology assessments and equipment adaptations. • Document therapy progress and submit reports for review. • Support in-service presentations and maintain therapy supplies and equipment. What You'll Bring:
• Valid OT/PT Assistant license and Ohio State Board of Education Pupil Services credentials. • Knowledge of Ohio Schools Medicaid Program covered services. • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work independently. • Commitment to professional conduct and ethical standards. • Satisfactory fingerprinting and criminal records check results (provided for free by MCESC!).
