About this role

Responsibilities of this position may include:

• Maintain and further develop a joyful, structured, achievement-oriented school culture

• Provide proactive, daily support to teachers and students to maintain high behavioral expectations to include student check-ins as needed/requested by school staff

• Help manage student referrals to the office

• Develop and support behavior intervention plans and accommodations for students with behavioral difficulties in conjunction with grade level teams

• Communication with families regarding behavior concerns

• Support during non-instructional times such as homeroom, break and lunch Lead school culture incentives (i.e. dances, homeroom competitions, attendance incentives)

• Help to coordinate field trips Maintain the Friday Community Meeting calendar and coordinating activities

• Coordinate clubs and Joy Time activities

• Manage the hallway and other coverage as needed

• Position Qualifications: 3-5 years of relevant experience.

• Relevant Bachelor's degree preferred.

• A deep desire to work with educationally underserved student populations and their families.

• An unwavering commitment to the academic success and personal development of our students.

• An eagerness to set ambitious, challenging, and tangible goals, and a relentless drive to achieve them.

• An ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment and a capacity to remain calm and focused when faced with unexpected challenges.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including strong public speaking skills.
