Title: Speech & Language Facilitator of Virtual Speech Services Reports To: Regional Supervisor of Special Education Start Date: When filled Job Goals: The primary goal is to assist the virtual Speech & Language Pathologist in carrying out services with in-person learners. Qualifications: Education: High School Diploma, some college experience is preferred Work Experience: Two years experience working in a school setting with children with disabilities is preferred. Skills:
• Ability to work with students with deficits in speech, language and comprehension
• Ability to utilize Google Meet and troubleshoot internet and Google systems
• Ability to implement consistent and proactive behavior management skills
• Ability to demonstrate good communication, teamwork and interpersonal skills
• Ability to follow through with directions provided by the Speech & Language Pathologist
• Ability to assist in collect data, as requested
• Ability to supervise students without distraction during the therapy sessions
• Ability to escort students to and from the therapy area efficiently and on time
• Ability to participate in IEP meetings, as requested
• Ability to demonstrate reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality
• Ability to complete assigned responsibilities within agreed upon or established timelines
• Ability to perform other duties as assigned by the Regional Special Education Supervisor

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
• Ability to sit and work on a computer for long periods of time
• Ability to travel across the county to multiple school locations
• Ability to lift 25 pounds
• Ability to walk back and forth multiple times across a school
• Ability to stand for extended periods
• Valid driver's license required.
