Job Summary: Grade written assignments. Communicate with Apex lab monitors regarding student progress, grades, and overall work. Monitor curriculum of courses and determine necessary units and assignments to meet course standards. Provide supplemental assignments, as needed.
Qualifications: Licensure for one of the following areas: Integrated Science for 7-12 or Certification for Comprehensive Science for 7-12 Integrated Language Arts for 7-12 or Certification for Comprehensive English for 7-12 Integrated Mathematics for 7-12 Or Certification for High School Mathematics for 7-12 Integrated Social Studies for 7-12 Health and Physical Education for 7-12 Experience teaching secondary courses in these subject areas and experience working with the curriculum and standards Knowledge of and experience using the Apex program Salary: $40.00 per hour The number of hours will depend on the number of students enrolled in those courses and the number of written assignments for each course. Stipend sheets and time logs will be submitted to Dan Hartman. Work for this position must be completed outside of the regular contract day.
