Youghal Family Resource Initiative has a vacancy for a Temporary After-School Care Assistant to cover a period of sick leave. The successful candidate will work as part of the childcare team and will be responsible for supporting the Room Leader in providing a safe, welcoming and enjoyable environment for children. Duties will include: Preparing and assisting activities for the children. Supporting the Room Leader during snack time. Supervising and participating in outdoor play and activities. Encouraging children’s social, emotional and creative development. Helping to ensure that all children feel safe, supported and welcome. Assisting with the day-to-day running of the after-school service. This is an excellent opportunity for someone interested in gaining experience in childcare and working with children in a supportive community environment.
