Location: Dublin-based with a hybrid model of 3 days on-site, 2 days work-from-home. About the Role As a full-time Data & AI Engineer at Clear Strategy, your role will involve designing and implementing ETL solutions tailored to client needs. You will develop and deliver Data Warehousing and BI projects, working closely with client stakeholders to understand and translate their business requirements into effective technical solutions. Additionally, you’ll stay informed on market advancements, including AI and large language models (LLMs), to continuously enhance your expertise and contributions. You will also explore opportunities to integrate AI where it adds value to data-driven solutions for clients. Key Responsibilities 1-3 years Cloud BI and Analytics principles experience, with exposure to tools and technologies for analysing, designing, testing, and managing data platforms. Experience or coursework in data ingestion technologies, data warehouse concepts (ETL, OLAP, Dimensional Modelling, Star/Snowflake Schemas), and relational databases like SQL Server, Snowflake, or Oracle. Familiarity with SQL, ETL tools, and cloud platforms(Azure, AWS, GCP). Knowledge of Snowflake, Databricks, and Microsoft Fabric. Awareness of AI and machine learning concepts, with exposure to applying AI techniques to data projects or understanding their potential impact. Strong analytical and commercial mindset, capable of translating business needs into technical solutions. Awareness of how data models affect visualisation and an interest in developing dashboards to present insights to technical and business teams. Exposure to project lifecycles through coursework, internships, or personal projects (e.g., data conversion, testing strategies, or building end-to-end solutions). A desire to work in a client-facing role or previous internship experience in consulting. Degree in Data Science, Analytics, AI, Mathematics, Statistics, or Computer Science preferred.
