- Permanent - Full-time 37.5 hours a week (x1 position)

- Fixed Term - Full time 37.5 hours a week (x1 position)

We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and motivated Physiotherapist to become part our therapy team.

The successful candidate will undertake physiotherapy roles across 7 clinic locations in Haringey and Islington covering areas such as routine MSK, orthopaedics, total knee replacement, Spinal classes, general exercise classes and lower limb classes.

You will work with close supervision and support, alongside a friendly, open, supportive and experienced therapy team to deliver assessment and intervention for our wide range of patient groups.

Job description Job responsibilities

To be professionally and legally accountable for all aspects of own work including themanagement of patients in own caseload and to seek advice from senior staff as appropriate.To carry out the assessment of patients as an autonomous practitioner, using clinical reasoningskills to determine a clinical diagnosis and formulate a care plan through utilising a range ofassessment skills specific to each clinical area.

To formulate and deliver an individual physiotherapy treatment programme based on a sound knowledge of evidence-based practice.To formulate and deliver physiotherapy treatment programmes in a variety of settings and as part of a 24/7 service.

Person Specification

Qualifications Essential

BSc Physiotherapy degree (or equivalent)

Desirable

HCPC registration (or pending)

Experience Essential

NHS student/clinical experience Completion of Musculoskeletal outpatients placement

Desirable

Additional varied placements (e.g., ITU, paediatrics, oncology, orthopaedics, hydrotherapy, community, women's health)

Knowledge Essential

Understanding of common physiotherapy conditions, including MSK, respiratory, orthopaedics, neurology and older adults. Understanding of clinical governance, audit and quality improvement Commitment to maintaining up-to-date professional knowledge

Skills Essential

Organises and prioritises workload -- manages a caseload and adapts to changing demands Communicates clearly and professionally -- with patients, carers and the MDT Works well in a team -- contributes to multidisciplinary working and supports colleagues
