Job summary
Working in a very friendly and supportive Child Health department, we have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Clinical Psychologist for our Child Development Psychology/Autism team to join an established and expanding multidisciplinary team.
As a member of a dedicated and supportive multi-disciplinary team, , you will work with colleagues from a variety of disciplines, including mental health nurses, speech and language therapists and paediatricians.
The team has a number of options available for flexible and hybrid working, including home-working with appropriate IT equipment and support. The team has dedicated office and clinic space as well as administrative support.
Main duties of the job
Providing specialist Autism assessments as part of an MDT within the autism assessment team. Providing neuropsychological assessments within the child development psychology team. To provide supervision to the assistant psychologist and other relevant team members. To contribute to MDT diagnostic decision-making panel discussions. To work in partnerships with paediatric colleagues providing autism assessments. To contribute to relevant training programmes. To contribute to team and service developments. Qualifications Essential
Doctorate in Clinical Psychology or equivalent (e.g. Counselling / Forensic) - HCPC registered
