Our team in Stoke in Trent is looking for a Recovery Worker to join them on a fixed term basis until 17/09/2027 to provide high-quality recovery care to a diverse client group. Main duties of the job

Our Recovery Workers play a vital role in supporting clients to identify their goals, ambitions, and passions. Youll work with them to create the best treatment plan for their needs and to guide them on their path to recovery. As part of your role, you will be the first point of contact for the service, including taking referrals, doing assessments, covering staff absence and answering telephone queries.

This is a frontline role at WithYou, where you will provide continuity of care through effective partnership working, care coordination, key work responsibilities, and intervention delivery. You will manage an active caseload, connecting quickly with clients and ensuring theyre always treated with respect and dignity.

This position is offered on a full time, fixed term basis, until 17 September 2027. Some Saturday working may be required to meet the needs of the service.

Person Specification

Experience Essential

Were looking for a compassionate and motivated individual, with an exceptional ability to build meaningful relationships. You will have demonstrable experience working within the health, social care, criminal justice or other specialist setting, or a clear motivation for wanting to work in the drug and alcohol sector. A successful track record of providing efficient and reliable customer service is essential. You will be highly organised, have excellent communication skills, and be able to manage your time effectively. You will work collaboratively as part of a team to ensure a high-quality service is maintained. You will also have a proven ability to carry out comprehensive assessments, assess risk, devise care plans and deliver evidence based interventions.
