As CHC Assistant, your role will be to provide administrative support to the CHC Office Manager and the Continuing and Complex Healthcare Team performing a wide range of administrative functions including maintaining office systems and processes, scanning and data inputting.
CHC is a friendly, busy team where colleagues work together to meet the needs of the service. You will be required to work closely with your colleagues but also have the confidence to work on your own initiative and handle sensitive situations. Due to the fast-paced environment, the ability to multi-task and prioritise your workload is essential.
Main duties of the job
First point of contact for telephone queries, re-directing and escalating any issues, as appropriate.
Arrange various meetings on behalf of the Nurse Assessors including Multi-disciplinary Meetings (MDTs) and Review meetings.
Inputting/updating patient data system.

Intermediate knowledge of IT systems and software programmes such as Outlook, Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Access Understanding of Confidentiality and Data Protection Act

English GCSE or equivalent IT skills/relevant qualifications
