Job SummaryThis position is located at USAG Rheinland-Pfalz - MWR, NAF Support Division Automation, Rhein Ordnance Barracks, Kaiserslautern. Incentives and Bonuses Incentives will not be paid.

QualificationsResumes must be two pages (or less). Resumes should clearly demonstrate the applicant's relevant experience, skills, knowledge and abilities as they pertain to this position. A qualified candidate must possess the following: Progressive work experience, which demonstrates an acquired knowledge of the theories, principals, practices and techniques of performing investigations and studies as described above. Must have knowledge of double-entry accrual method of accounting demonstrated through work experience or education that reflects ability to perform audit assignments. Demonstrated work experience must be equivalent in difficulty and complexity to the next lower grade level. Experience in word-processing, spreadsheet and database applications. Must have experience in leading or working in a team. Must possess good written and oral communication skills. In addition to the above qualifications, candidates who possess the following qualifications will be considered "Highly Preferred" or "Best Qualified": At least one year prior experience as a Quality Review Analyst or Facility Manager/Assistant Manager within DFMWR. Applicant meeting the Best Qualifying Criteria/Highly Preferred will be referred to the hiring manager. All other qualified applicants will be referred if requested by the hiring manager. Major DutiesUses testing, analyzing and evaluating operations, using advanced audit techniques such as computer database analysis or statistical sampling.Performs unannounced cash counts and internal control reviews for all lMWRF activities. Documents all cash counts and notifies the DCA, division chiefs and activity managers of the results of the reviews.Works independently to obtain audit-planning information, identify sub-objectives, acquire and analyze data, assign and monitor work of team members, interpret regulations and develop preliminary findings/audit report.Areas of responsibility include - Accuracy of financial reporting; controls over cash and negotiable instruments; propriety and validity of payroll actions; implementation of Army's Internal Control Program.
