QualificationsIn addition to the basic education requirement, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or NH-02 pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Enforcing quality assurance plans against contractor operations to guarantee adherence to technical specifications, performance benchmarks, and project schedules. Major DutiesYou will direct the program lifecycle for all facility cranes, managing long-range budgeting, strategic equipment acquisitions, and major repair plans.You will supervise and lead quality assurance specialists and technicians, managing work schedules, performance ratings, and professional development.You will act as project manager for major crane procurements and system upgrades, overseeing designs, technical drawings, and contractor execution.You will establish and enforce quality assurance programs, equipment inspection rules, and load testing safety certification protocols.You will serve as the technical contract representative to monitor contractor performance, enforce compliance, and negotiate contract modifications.You will lead engineering investigations into mechanical or electrical equipment failures to determine root causes and design lasting solutions.You will continuously evaluate technology advances in weight handling systems to integrate modern safety, reliability, and maintenance upgrades.You will represent the organization as the lead technical liaison to external stakeholders, equipment manufacturers, and executive leadership.
