A qualified candidate must possess the following: Minimum Qualification Criteria: 1. Work experience directly related to the duties describe above. 2. Must possess knowledge of electrical principles and operating characteristics of electrical and electronic components for application as in the duties described. **Resume MUST clearly reflect the knowledge and experience listed under the minimum qualifications criteria above** In addition to the above qualifications, candidates who possess both the above minimum and the following Highly Qualified Criteria will be considered "Best Qualified": Highly Qualified Criteria: Must be skilled in use of standard electrical test equipment, such as voltmeters, ohmmeters continuity testers, and test lamps. Must be able to perform such repairs as soldering loose connections, burnishing contact points, splicing, insulating exposed wires, replacing defective printed circuit boards. Resume MUST clearly reflect the knowledge and experience listed under both the minimum qualification criteria and highly qualified criteria above to be considered Best Qualified.

Major DutiesWork under general supervision of the bowling facility manager who provides assignments either orally or through work orders.Maintains, adjusts, and repairs a variety of bowling equipment having mechanical, electrical and electronic parts, components and assemblies.Diagnoses equipment malfunctions, but referring to manufacturer's diagrams and specifications, schematics, and wiring diagrams using testequipment such as continuity testers, voltmeters, ohmmeters and feeler gages.Conducts operational checks, visually checking for worn or damaged parts, traces wiring, disassembles, and makes necessary adjustments,repairs or replaces defective parts, cleans, lubricates, and reassembles the equipment.Makes such repairs and adjustments as re-timing cams and gears; measuring and regulating the sweep of rakes; replacing broken or worn pins,rods, brushes, bolts, belts, tension springs; filing contact points; and cleaning and lubricating parts.
