QualificationsYour resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-9/11 grade level, DP-03 pay band in the Federal service, or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Knowledge of systems engineering and safety requirements allocation. Coordinating and conducting detailed technical reviews among program management and various engineering staff. Performing program status reviews, peer reviews, System Requirements Reviews (SRR), Preliminary Design Reviews (PDR), Critical Design Reviews (CDR), and Test Readiness Reviews (TRR). Leading and participating in all phases of the Systems Engineering process to include development requirements, conceptual design, system design, integration, verification, and validation (I, V, &V), system test, and final customer acceptance. Performing engineering technical services and recommending systems support plans based on customer requirements. Major DutiesYou will be involved the identification, management and documentation of safety risks associated with the employment of new or newly upgraded and experimental ordnance devices.You will perform system safety work involving the engineering analysis of weapon systems to identify and reduce or eliminate safety hazards inherent in the design.You will perform work involving the management and control of risk in testing or industrial processing involving ordnance items or high-energy materials.You will perform engineering technical services and make recommendations on systems support plans based on customer requirements.
