A qualified candidate must possess the following: A 4-year course of study leading to a bachelor's degree with a major in a directly related discipline. OR One year of work experience in contract administration, project management, or a related field. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Major DutiesServes as the liaison between the contracting officer and the contractor, ensuring all contract requirements are met in accordance with government regulations and organizational standards.Coordinates meetings between the NAF Contracting Officer and contractor to discuss contract status, performance, and any potential changes.Facilitates the execution of short-term contracts for vendors during special events. Manages post-event activities, including settling accounts and resolving any issues or disputes that may arise.Prepares periodic reports for the NAF Contracting office, DFMWR, and DFAS, maintains historical financial data, and coordinates reporting documents with the Environmental Office.Supervises assigned employees, ensures the maintenance of the facility footprint to the expected standards. Oversees the maintenance of supplies and ensures that assigned tasks are completed efficiently.
